Seems like a lucrative business to get into. Recovering data from physically damaged hard drives at $1,000-3,000 a pop. What does a tech need to know or where do they go to learn more? Thanks

I deleted all of the information on my hard drive and it won't even pick up when it is plugged in. I think I might have to take it to someone who can fix it for me.
The thing is I cant even open the drive (external) it won't open like its not even there. I really don't know what to do with it.

double hdd recovery raid, double take recovery

So I knew my hard drive was going then the day i bought my time capsule it went completely. Took it to the apple store and it didn't show up on the device list. Every hard drive recovery service I've called is anywhere from $300-$2700. I really don't want to pay that can someone help me find an easier/cheaper solution?

Thanks so much!

Need a full backup of the 320 Gb disk. If anyone has done this before. What are the exact steps I shall follow?
I had a few logical drives with different filesystems, how do I make sure the recovery software interprets this correctly!
