Not very versed in this subject. The only thing I've been told is that it can cost anywhere from $50 to nearly $2000 dollars to get data recovered from a hard drive.
I need to be enlightened...
What about if the hard drive has physical damage?
ok this is what happen. by mistake i format my storage hard drive (wipe out) (slave drive) where I HAD my videos, pictures, software,and other folders. i used some data recovery softwares but no success, I had over 100 videos and family pictures all gone can somebody please HELLLLLPPPPPPP!!!! THANX SSOOOO MUCH!

Prices I've seen online range from $99-2300 and I have NO idea which companies are reputable and which just plain stink.
Has anyone else had a similar experience? If so, which companies do you recommend and what prices seemed reasonable?
Also, the issue with my drive is not one that be fixed by simply plugging the drive into a new enclosure or running a recovery software program.
