My computer shuts of randomly and I went to PC repair to diagnose my computer. They came up with "hard drive partition failure." I have tried to fix my computer by installing Windows from hard drive recovery. But after I installed Windows, it was still same. But PC repair told me that I should reinstall Windows from CD recovery because my hard drive partition failure. I don't understand what does it mean?

Hard disk controller issues
Failing RAM
Hardware defect
Solution
To solve the above STOP error, you need to follow these methods:
If I/O status code is 0xC000009C or 0xC000016A, then it indicates bad sectors. Try restarting the hard disk. Doing so will run the Autocheck that can identify bad sectors or alternatively, you can run chkdsk. If bad sectors are logical, reformatting the hard disk will remove them. You can restore lost data from an updated backup. If such backup is not available or invalid, you need to usehard drive recovery software .
Scan your hard disk using an updated and powerful antivirus application, if virus infection is the issue.
If I/O status code is C0000185, you should check disk cables
Consult Hard Drive Recovery services, if hard disk cotroller is causing the problem
You need to run hardware diagnostics to determine RAM failure issues
