I recently fried my hard drive. Im thinking about using a data recovery center. The drive i need recovered has alot of unpublished and un-copyrighted material that i have created such as screenplays and manuscripts. Im worried that the company having access to these will steal them during the recovery and with no backup on my part i would have no way to dispute that they were mine in court if i needed to sue cause someone uses it. Are my worries valid ?, any way to deal with this situation.

My computer shuts of randomly and I went to PC repair to diagnose my computer. They came up with "hard drive partition failure." I have tried to fix my computer by installing Windows from hard drive recovery. But after I installed Windows, it was still same. But PC repair told me that I should reinstall Windows from CD recovery because my hard drive partition failure. I don't understand what does it mean?

OMG i can't believe it i accidentally recovered my c drive ( c drive starts all over) meaning that all the images i had are GONE!!!! all my previous files are gone for my pics and my documents!!! can anybody help me???? Is there a method or program that can help m recover those lost images PLZZZZ i need those pics back!!!

I am using EASEUS data recovery wizard to try to recover my files on my external hard drive. It looked like this was working for a while but now it is stuck in one spot and the bar isn't moving forward. It isn't frozen as the timer keeps increasing. Should I wait and see what happens or start over?

I just want to see what programs it has, not alter anything. How can I do this?

Could you please tell me where i could find a FULL version of the software instead of the the limited versions which don't let you save your recovered files?

Seems like a lucrative business to get into. Recovering data from physically damaged hard drives at $1,000-3,000 a pop. What does a tech need to know or where do they go to learn more? Thanks
